 | Lamar Eifert- B.A., M.A. Associate Pastor, Director of VFBCC Lamar received his B.A. in 1987 from Cedarville University and worked in both the financial services and pharmaceutical industries for twelve years. During that time he enrolled in seminary and received his M.A. degree in Biblical Counseling and Pastoral Ministries from Trinity Theological Seminary. He was ordained to the ministry in 2000 and has served as Pastor of Family Ministries and Counseling at Valley Forge Baptist for the past twelve years. He is a certified counselor with the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC) since 2010, and is the Director of the Valley Forge Biblical Counseling Center. He and his wife, Ann, have been married for 24 years and they have three children. |  | Kathleen Schlichtmann- B.A., M.S. Kathleen received her B.A. in 1987 from East Carolina University and then served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force for eight years. During that time she completed her M.S. degree through Troy State University in 1993. In 1996, Kathleen left the Air Force to pursue a career in Financial Services and is still working in that industry. Kathleen led a women’s small group while working with our Addictions Program, Reformers Unanimous, from 2008 to 2010, and she joined the VFB counseling staff in 2009 volunteering as a lay counselor. She became a certified counselor with the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC) in 2010 and is currently working on her Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from the Master’s College. Kathleen specializes in counseling women of all ages and has a passion for helping them experience victory over their personal struggles. She and her husband, Don, have been married for 21 years and they have two children. |  | David Mengel- A.S. Director of Reformers Unanimous (RU) Addictions Recovery Program Dave received his A.S. degree from Temple University in 1970 and has worked as a civil engineer for 35 years. He retired from this position in 2005. During this time he has been active in the ministry of Valley Forge Baptist as a lay counselor and Sunday School teacher. He was the Assistant Director of RU for three years before being recently promoted to Director in 2011. He has a special interest in counseling those struggling with addictions and is completing his requirements to become a NANC certified counselor (National Association of Nouthetic Counselors). He has been married to his wife, Donna, for 37 years. He has two grown children and five grandchildren.
